Jeff Kauffman – VP Engineering, Centurion Consulting, Inc.
Jeff’s recent experience includes project lead, hardware engineer, and software engineer for multiple products including an Arinc 429 to Aviation Data converter, the hardware aspects of a primary flight display technology demonstration platform, a GPS/Iridium diplexer, an aircraft cockpit datalink product including both digital and microwave design work for a product designed to DO160D standards. His recent software experience in the avionics area includes the development of a cyclical executive for an 8051 based aircraft engine monitoring system
Dave Lunger – President and Founder of Centurion Consulting, Inc.
Dave has been involved in the development and implementation of embedded real-time products for over 20 years. As an experienced pilot, Dave has keen interest and expertise in the software aspect of aviation-related projects.
Dave’s recent experience includes the design, development and implementation of software for multiple aviation related products including an Arinc 429 to Aviation Data format converter, the software aspects of a primary flight display technology demonstration platform including IOP firmware, a Windows based data relay, and an OpenGL prototype implementation, and an aircraft cockpit datalink allowing multi-purpose messaging to the internet. This intensive project involved an embedded microprocessor driving many serial and digital I/O ports, a web interface, and GUI test code under MS Windows. In addition Dave has in depth experience in developing MS Windows based graphical interfaces and embedded software that are directly applicable to this development application.
